Terms of Use
Last updated September 6, 2026
These Terms of Use (the "Terms") are an agreement between you and Team Up Homes. We operate the website and related tools (together, the "Service"). Team Up Homes helps homeowners and crews organize neighborhood buying groups for home services. By creating an account, joining a deal, listing a service, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Who these Terms cover
"Homeowners" are people who use Team Up Homes to find or join a block rate. "Providers" are people or businesses who offer home services through a group deal. "Visitors" are anyone else who browses the site. All of those people are "you." If you use the Service for a company, you confirm you have authority to bind that company.
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. The Service is not intended for children.
2. What Team Up Homes is — and is not
Team Up Homes is a coordination layer. We publish community prices, collect interest from nearby homes, and pass contact details to the named provider so a crew can plan a dense route. Unless we expressly say we are performing the work ourselves, we are not the contractor on the job. The service visit is an arrangement between the homeowner and the provider.
We do not supervise how a provider staffs, sequences, or completes a job. We do not guarantee that a deal will fill, that a published price will remain available, or that a provider will accept every home on a list. Quality guidelines we publish are suggestions, not a warranty.
3. Accounts
You are responsible for the information you submit and for keeping your password confidential. Notify us promptly if you think someone else used your account. We may suspend or close an account that is inaccurate, abusive, fraudulent, or that creates safety or legal risk.
Homeowners may close an account at any time. Providers who have live deals should give reasonable notice so neighbors already on a list are not stranded mid-route. We may keep records as described in the Privacy Policy.
4. Joining a group deal
Joining a deal tells us — and the named provider — that you want the described work at the published community price, subject to the scope on that deal page. Joining is not always a paid checkout on this site. When payment is collected, it is handled by the provider or a payment processor, not stored as full card data by Team Up Homes.
You agree that property details you enter (lot size, window counts, access notes, and similar facts) are accurate. If the site visit shows a material difference, the provider may propose an adjusted price before work starts. You may decline and cancel before work begins.
You are responsible for giving safe, lawful access to the property, including gate codes or pet notes you choose to share. Team Up Homes is not a security service and is not liable for how access information is used once you share it with a provider.
5. Provider obligations
Providers act as independent businesses. You supply your own tools, insurance, licenses, and personnel. You set or accept the community price shown on a deal and are responsible for the work you perform, including injury or property damage caused by your crew.
You agree not to move a Team Up Homes customer off the Service for the same category of work in order to avoid the coordination that made the route possible, unless we give written permission or the work is not offered here. You will not demand cash-only side payments for a deal that was formed on the Service.
Background checks, tax filings, and required insurance are your responsibility. We may ask for certificates of insurance and may pause a listing if coverage lapses.
6. Fees, cancellations, and weather
Community prices and any platform charges are shown on the deal or in your account before you commit. Taxes are your responsibility where the law requires them. We may update published rates; if a change increases what you would pay, you may leave the deal before the work is performed.
Cancel before the cutoff stated on the deal (or, if none is stated, at least three days before the scheduled window) to avoid a late-cancel fee the provider may charge for a wasted crew day. Same-day cancellations and no-access visits may still be billable. Weather or other events beyond a crew's control can move a date; prepaid amounts for a missed weather day should be credited or rebooked.
7. Acceptable use
Use the Service only for lawful home-service coordination. Do not impersonate others, scrape the site, probe our systems, upload malware, harass users, post illegal content, or use Team Up Homes to exploit minors. We may remove content, cancel deals, or close accounts that break these rules.
8. Your content and our materials
Photos, notes, and other materials you upload remain yours, but you give Team Up Homes a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and use them to operate and improve the Service. Do not upload content you do not have the right to share.
The Team Up Homes name, layout, and software are owned by Team Up Homes or its licensors. You receive a limited, revocable license to use the Service for its intended purpose. You may not copy our marks for a competing product without permission.
9. Messages
If you give us an email address or mobile number, we may send transactional messages about your account, a deal you joined, or crew timing. Marketing messages require a separate opt-in where the law requires one. Reply STOP to SMS marketing. You can unsubscribe from promotional email using the link in those messages.
10. Disputes about the work
If you are unhappy with a completed visit, contact the provider first and, where the deal page offers an issues path, report it through Team Up Homes promptly and with photos when you can. We may help the parties talk, but we are not required to issue credits and we are not a party to most job disputes.
11. Disclaimers and limits
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS." TO THE FULLEST EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW, TEAM UP HOMES DISCLAIMS IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not promise uninterrupted access or error-free listings.
EXCEPT FOR FRAUD, WILLFUL MISCONDUCT, OR LIABILITY THAT CANNOT BE LIMITED, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR A CLAIM RELATED TO THE SERVICE IS CAPPED AT THE FEES YOU PAID TO TEAM UP HOMES FOR THE SIX MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM. WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS OR DATA.
12. Indemnity
You will defend and hold Team Up Homes harmless from claims that arise from your misuse of the Service, your breach of these Terms, or work you perform (if you are a provider), except to the extent caused by our own willful misconduct.
13. Changes, law, and contact
We may update these Terms by posting a new version on this page. For material changes we will give reasonable notice when we have an email on file. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the update. If you do not, stop using the Service.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before filing a lawsuit, the parties will try to resolve the issue in good faith, then mediation. Claims must be brought individually, not as a class or representative action, to the extent the law allows.
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement for your use of the Service. If a court strikes one clause, the rest still apply. Questions about these Terms can be sent through the support options published on the Team Up Homes site.
